Seal Coating

Seal coating is a protective layer applied to asphalt surfaces, such as driveways and parking lots, to shield them from the damaging effects of water, sunlight, and chemicals. It consists of a coal tar pitch or asphalt-based emulsion mixed with water, mineral fillers, and additives. This coating helps prevent oxidation, cracking, and deterioration of the asphalt pavement, extending its lifespan and enhancing its appearance. Seal coating also provides a smooth, uniform surface that improves traction and makes maintenance easier. It's typically applied in thin layers using specialized equipment.

Parking Lot Striping

Parking lot striping involves marking designated spaces and traffic lanes in a parking area using paint or thermoplastic materials. These markings help organize and maximize parking efficiency, ensure safety by delineating pedestrian and vehicle paths, and comply with regulatory requirements. The process includes measuring and laying out lines, symbols, and directional arrows according to local codes and standards. Properly striped parking lots enhance traffic flow, improve safety, and contribute to a neat and organized appearance.

Curb Striping

Curb striping involves painting or marking curbs along roads or parking areas to indicate parking regulations, loading zones, or no-parking zones. These markings help manage traffic flow, ensure compliance with local ordinances, and enhance safety by clearly defining where vehicles can or cannot park. Curb striping typically includes using specific colors and symbols to convey different parking restrictions or permissions effectively.

ADA & Stenciling

ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) symbols and compliance refer to the regulations and standards set forth by the ADA to ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities. This includes requirements for accessible parking spaces, pathways, entrances, and facilities such as restrooms and signage. ADA symbols typically include the International Symbol of Access (ISA), a wheelchair symbol used to designate accessible parking spaces and facilities. Compliance involves adhering to specific dimensions, slopes, clearances, and signage requirements to ensure equal access and usability for people with disabilities in public spaces and facilities.

Crack Seal

Asphalt crack sealing involves filling or sealing cracks in asphalt pavement to prevent water infiltration and further damage. This process typically uses specialized materials like hot rubberized asphalt or cold-applied sealants to effectively seal cracks and prevent them from expanding due to weather and traffic. Crack sealing helps extend the lifespan of asphalt surfaces by minimizing water penetration, which can lead to potholes and pavement deterioration. It's a crucial maintenance activity to preserve the integrity and appearance of asphalt pavements.

Pot Hole Repair

Pothole repair is the process of fixing damaged areas in asphalt pavement caused by weathering, traffic, or other factors. It involves cleaning the pothole, filling it with suitable materials such as asphalt patching mix or cold patch, and compacting it to restore a smooth surface. Proper pothole repair helps prevent further pavement deterioration and ensures safe and smooth driving conditions for vehicles.
